Ask the child to tell you the names of the items
under the cover. 6. Let the child

After a reasonable period of time, if the child
doesn't get all the items, uncover them and try
again.

the child gets better at this activity, place
more and/or smaller items on the tray.
9. It
is important that the parent have a great deal of
patience with the child during this activity.
Children will not remember the same way an adult
does. In other words, the child is simply
learning how to remember with all the
complexities that it brings.
10.
Have the child pick some items for you to
remember.
