Your child's favourite treat.

PURPOSE

PROCESS

1. Prior to playing the game, place the child's favorite treat in a hidden location easily accessible to the child.

2. Have the child sit beside you and explain that a treasure has been hidden in the house.

3. Tell the child that you will give voice instructions to find the treasure. The child should be reminded to listen carefully to the instructions.

4. After each instruction, the child should perform the action (walking, crawling, hopping to a given location).

5. When the child reaches the given location, they should stop, face you, and listen attentively for the next voice instruction.

6. If the child does not perform the action properly, have him/her return to your side and repeat the instruction more slowly. Have the child perfrom the action.
